For all the old skool modders that have stuck by Mod DB from v1 to v4. A lot has changed as over the years as the site moved from a dark v1 to a bright and rounded v2, to the classic v3 and now the all mighty v4! To join this group you must have joined the Mod DB in 2002 or be a KNOWN long time hardcore user!

Yeah, that was a big day. A lot of people were upset about how different it was from v1 and v1.5, but I think everyone has been comfortable since. I'm sure in a lot of ways, it's obvious that the leap from v1->v2 is like what we're going through now. Just another thing to get used to.
