A lot has changed as over the years as the site moved from a dark v1 to a bright and rounded v2, to the classic v3 and now the all mighty v4! Mod DB v2 picked up where v1 left off, only the site design was white for the first time ever, and much cleaner (less gamey - inspired by ModBlog's design). The reason why was back in 2004 I was getting into the business world and I wanted a site which felt more "professional and official". Totally wrong for a game site which I soon learnt, but this site continued Mod DB's growth as it was super clean and easy to use.
