The official community of Neverwinter Nights modders, fans and players of Moddb. Number of NWN Mods on Moddb: 27
All right, everyone. I have an important announcement to make, so listen up!

Well, say whatever you want to say, our community here in Moddb has certainly grown stronger in the last few months. I mean, everything, from relatively small projects like Wizanrn to the big ones, like July Anarchy, Tales of A Forgotten Realm, The Mystic Journey and Star Wars: Galaxy In Darkness, there's certainly a pretty decent amount of modules here, considering the NWN community around here was pratically abbandoned several months ago.So what do I have to say about this: Keep it up! We're all doing a great job! Mods of all kinds and tastes aren't that easy to make, but the selection (even if small) of downloads we've provided looks better and better. With some luck, even more modders will be attracted here, and this community will grow to be even larger.
As a bit of an extra, here's a small list of NWN 1 modules that are still active:
-The Bitter Taste of Blood, by Jonas ( Moddb.com ): It seems to be decent enough. The story looks interesting and the idea is also very good.
-July Anarchy Prologue, by JM_Scion ( Moddb.com ): Most of you already know this one. Well, I have to say, it surprised me. I SINCERELY wasn't expecting a mix between guns, high fanstasy, sci-fi and action to work, much less to work this good.
-The Mystic Journey (all of 'em): TheKingOfTheGuild's work might have been the first module I've played out of the original campaign. Altough Ubadah's Tale presented the most cruel, unforgiving, hard, uncaring, demoniac, hateful, abhorrent, despicable and terrible boss I've ever seen - to the point of making me almost cheat - , it is a pretty good series, especially if you consider the fact that the epic conclusion to it isn't very far away on the horizon.
- The Rift : Probably the only Persistent World that is still active around these parts (even tough it wasn't released yet). It seems pretty decent, but I'm not really sure if it is still active, since the author (Nexus) hasn't updated the page for a long time, now...
-Tales of A Forgotten Realm, by Dragon Studios: As a developer from this mod, I'll do my best to not make it sound better than it actually is. ToAFR has been around for quite a while now. Recently, the latest installement in the sagas (The Lowland General 2) was released, and even got featured!
-Neverwinter Nights - The Tales of a Hero: TheKingOfTheGuild's new project is about what happened to The Hero of Neverwinter (the first one) after the events of the expansions.
-Static: Another JM_Scion project. Apparently, the mod centers itself around an horror atmosphere. Well, we don't get many of those nowdays, but considering the work he did in July Anarchy, I'm certainly going to take a look on this one.
-The Forts: Once again, this one was made by TheKingOfTheGuild. A completely bizarre tale, spanning through three insane chapters, The Forts seem to be more of an experiment that anything else. Worth playing, tough.
