Stargate Universe Production Started
After the success of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, will Stargate Universe maintain the standard? Time will tell.

Stargate Universe has started production on February 18, 2009 with production expected to end on October 23, 2009.
Officially, the current cast is:
- Justin Louis as Colonel Everett Young
- David Blue as Eli Wallace
- Brian J. Smith as Lieutenant Matthew Scott
- Jamil Walker Smith as Master Sergeant Ronald Greer
- Robert Carlyle as Dr. Nicholas Rush
- Alaina Huffman (aka. Alaina Kalani) as Master Sergeant Tamara Johansen.
- Elyse Levesque as Chloe Armstrong
Other cast members include Ming-Na as Camille Wray and Lou Diamond Phillips as Colonel Telford.
According to Brad Wright, the show will involve more character relationships, story arcs and space based action. It will also focus on the people on-board the ancient ship Destiny instead of planet exploration.
Stargate Universe is currently set for an autumn premiere on Sci Fi in the U.S. later this year, with it's pilot three-part episode titled Air.
