Hey guys I have a question, what was the first gun to use plastic? I always thought it was the M-16 Assault Rifle, but recently I heard about the German MP-40 being the first to use a form of plastic (in a very small amount). Could someone prove or disprove this for me? Thanks in advance.
I am pretyy sure the MP40 was among (if not the) first guns 2 use plastic although in a very limeted amount nothing like an m16 M4 or aug

It saddens me that MW2 made everyone believe that the M14 is mainly a sniper rifle. If so the G3 and the FAL are sniper rifles as well just because they are BATTLE RIFLES too... Oh wait, they ARE used as SR's in other unrealistic games... Well, you can just install a scope and they are range-effective enoguh to be used as a SR perhaps, like they did before the assault rifles came appeared, when for instance they could just take some Springfield or M1 Garand and put a scope on it and it was used by snipers... ahhhhhhhhhhh...
I know its a batlle rifle dude but I would use it more for percsion shots then an ak/m4 role also the fact is there is a deicated sniper based of t m14 M21. BTw cod does suck and i was sayin sniper/marksmens rilfes cause the svd garnoxv is a sniper as well as the VSS and the SVU i do happen 2 own firearms myself in addtion 2 a large array of books
