the original (FN minimi) could use M16 mags. I would like the spw model with 10 45 rnd m16 mags, and thos damn kids wont know what hit them :D

Yeah, the M249 does accept STANAG M16 magazines, but that feature is never used except in last resort emergencies when you've got no other options as it jams the weapon every time. You're better off just going with 200 round belts.

If you really want to want to do some damage with a mag fed LMG, you're best bet is the Ultimax Mk5. Or hell, why not just go with an M4 with a heavy barrel and Beta C mag:)
