A single rider travels to the Ottoman capital. A proud eagle sits perched on his shoulder as he gallops through desert, rock and grass. He goes with a message not only to the Ottoman leader but to everybody hearing the news. The Ottomans and Mongols are now allies.

*Niteris wasnt smiling any more, he had thought that his actions would bring cheer and joy all through out christendom. He sighed and looked down at the messenger, what a brave lad, he thought.

"Alright, ill come along. But if you dont mind i shall bring a small force with me as these roads arent entirely safe yet." Niteris said.

He mounted his horse as did 10 of the Ritterbruders. He told Christophe to continue the assault on Vilnius while he was away. Niteris looked to the messenger and nodded and rode off towards Italy.*

OOC: Ill arrive late tonight as Niteris will ride hard and swift. Good move pulling this though, but i have a good defense.

*An envoy from the Pope walks up to the Grand Master of the Teutonic States, flanke by two Holy Knights. He takes out a large letter, and begins to read it.*

"To the Esteemed Grand Master of the Teutonic Order,

Your Invaison of the Territories of the Holy Roman Empire and the murder of Emperor Kurst have caused outrage throughout Christendom. Your request to be crowned Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and thereby Governor of its Territories and People has been declined.

The reason for this is quite clear: The Holy Roman Empire were under the Protection of Pope Augustus II, thereby you had no right to invade their territory. All countries of Christian Faith are under His Holy Protection, and unless Excommunicated they may not he attacked by fellow Catholic Nations, unless permission from the Pope is given.

You are hereby to report to Rome and to be put on Trial, and executed if necesary, unless you can explain your actions and why you did not seek permission from Pope Augustus II.

Signed Honoricus, General of the Papal States Holy Army."

*The two Holy Knights next to the messanger draw their swords, ready for resistance on the part of the Grand Master. 20 more Knights appear, their armor glinting in the morning sun, their weapons drawn aswell. The leader speaks.*

"You are to come with me, Sir. We are to escort you to Rome to await trial. Resist and you shall be killed. If we do not appear in Rome the day of the Trial, his Holiness will presume those he sent to arrest you, us, dead and will declare the Teutonic Order Heretics."

OOC: Not really giving me much choice. Either you come or you go heretic. Please don't rage over this, think of it as a challenge. Do you try and take the Pope down? Do you flee to the Holy Lands? In the Holy Lands, do you try to redeem yourself in the eyes of the Pope or do you ally with the "Heretics" and fight the Christian Soldier their? Or do you try and seize control of the Holy Roman Empire and declare the Pope unfit for command, starting a Religious Civil War? Possibilities are endless.

English News:

Word has reached the Kings Court in London today, over the sudden death of the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. The Court was furious, and claims that the death of the Emperor or even an assualt upon him should only be authorized by the Pope. Furthermore, the Court went into an absolute outrage after recieving reports that the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order, claimed the Crown of the Empire.

It Sent a statement to the Pope at the Vatican, that the only way to rule the Empire is through gaining the vote of the Holy Roman Empire states. Then the Emperor is ruler for life.

Relations are already beginning to strain after the recent announcement of the English-Teutonic Alliance.

Now for the holy conquest against Wales. King John and his men are still at battle with them. However reports are coming in from the battle through messengers, that indeed the Lord is on our side.
