Shame you're wrong, then. It shines in the animation department, but as a modeling tool it's really no better than max/blender/etc.

I'd say max is the more efficient for modeling, but yea Grinnock is right about Maya being better at animation.

You guys must have not gotten full use out of it. It's modeling tools are much better, holding down the spacebar, and shift+right-click alone makes it better. It's very efficient and fast.
