i actually felt upset when i visited the crash site... so many memories. And then when you find pressly's datapad, that was quite touching moment.

Wait, I totally missed the crash site.
Was it an add-on mission or there is a point where you come back to where you crashed ?
It was a added location that was included in the Cerberus network pass DLC, its location is Alchera, Amada, Omega Nebula
Best part is that it is free! Although, why have it as a DLC when it is completely free is beyond me.
Free WITH the Cerberus Network. I think if you bought ME2 NEW, it gave you CN, but us others who got i used had to buy CN seperately.
