The Fellowship

is an unofficial Lord of the Rings group on Moddb that brings every LOTR-fan together!
Though it has been opend for everyone, there are still some condition you need to meet...

They're basic but just so you know:

- Be polite to everyone, even if you don't like him/her
- As everyone who joins this group begins as a Soldier (notify the group leader or manager he will take care of this).
- you can become something else if you just be very active here and only ask to one of the group leaders you must be active though so make clear you are noticed.
- You can discuss about anything IF it doesn't get out of hands!

The group leaders is,
- LOTRuler

The group manager is,
- moddlord1

The rest you can think yourself, so a whole list is not necessary!

Everyone who has some interesting news about a Lord of the Rings game, movie or book, please tell!
So we all are updated on the interesting events of Middle-Earth.

So don't think about joining this group....
Just do it!

- The Fellowship Team.

Hey everybody! I think we can all agree it's about time somebody made a mod "worthy of Mordor". Luckily, I found this: Forums.taleworlds.com

It's a mod for M&B Warband, and it looks really good so far. If all goes well, it should be released around Christmas.

The Hobbit Trilogy titles and release dates

The final film in Peter Jackson’s trilogy adaptation of The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, now titled “The Hobbit: There and Back Again,” will be released worldwide on July 18, 2014.

The title of the second installment in the franchise will be “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” and the film will be released on December 13, 2013. The first film in the trilogy, “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” opens this holiday season, on December 14, 2012. Shot in 3D 48 frames-per-second, the trilogy of films will be released in High Frame Rate (HFR) 3D, other 3D formats, IMAX and 2D.

From Academy Award®-winning director Peter Jackson, the trilogy of films is set in Middle-earth 60 years before “The Lord of the Rings,” which Jackson and his filmmaking team brought to the big screen in the blockbuster trilogy that culminated with the Oscar®-winning “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.”

Under Jackson’s direction, all three movies are being shot in digital 3D using the latest camera and stereo technology. Additional filming, as with principal photography, is taking place at Stone Street Studios, Wellington, and on location around New Zealand.

And I know this might not have much to do with the game but does anyone else wonder what was with the wargs that attacked the Fellowship before they went into the Mines of Moria in the first book? Were they like phantoms that didn't really exist or were they like werewolves or what? Maybe Sauruman made them disappear or something.
