is an unofficial Lord of the Rings group on Moddb that brings every LOTR-fan together!
Though it has been opend for everyone, there are still some condition you need to meet...
- Be polite to everyone, even if you don't like him/her
- As everyone who joins this group begins as a Soldier (notify the group leader or manager he will take care of this).
- you can become something else if you just be very active here and only ask to one of the group leaders you must be active though so make clear you are noticed.
- You can discuss about anything IF it doesn't get out of hands!
The group leaders is,
- LOTRuler
The group manager is,
- moddlord1
The rest you can think yourself, so a whole list is not necessary!
Everyone who has some interesting news about a Lord of the Rings game, movie or book, please tell!
So we all are updated on the interesting events of Middle-Earth.
So don't think about joining this group....

Keep adding it up! PM me one and I'll keep adding up ;) Though it will have to be FROM the BOOK
Just saw the Hobbit. Plot wise, character wise, design wise, PERFECT, however I saw it in the new "48 frames per second" form and I must say, DO NOT SEE IT IN 48 FPS. It's horribly disconcerting, I thought it took away from the experience massively.
What! Really?! The 48fps was absolutely stunning from my point of view! It was like looking at the real thing, I thought it was pretty revolutionary. And I can not tell you how good it was to see ol' Gandalf in action again, one of my biggest heroes that dude.
I saw it in 30 FPS, True IMAX 3D (none of that digital IMAX stuff :P) and it was fantastic. I'm greatly curious though as to what 48 looks like.
You're not the first person who I've seen who says they don't like it in that HFR, so I'm beginning to wonder whether I should see it in 48 FPS.
I dont get you... I watched in 48 too (I think there's no 24 fps version) and its fine and the only thing different is that movie is smoother.
no 48 FPS is new, Hobbit is one of the first movies filmed with this quality and shown in cinema with 48 FPS. 24 FPS is the normal used frames for movies in cinema. and some cinemas will show the hobbit in 24 ;)
