Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor takes Tolkien's fantasy universe into the next console generation, and released on both Xbox and PS4 One, in addition to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The game gives us a story and a main character who is independent from the source material, but the events take place between The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The studio intending to bring Middle-earth to live again Monolith Productions, formerly known among other MOBA game Guardians of Middle-earth, which was also based on the Lord of the universe. Monolith allegedly works this time closely with Middle-earth Enterprises and Peter Jackson to make the world of Shadow of Mordor as true to the books and movies as possible.

When Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be available to the public is currently unknown.
More info about this will come later

It looks good but pretty much every LotR game since Conquest has failed, so I'm not holding my breath on this one either.

So sad that basically no games are actually worthy of Tolkien's work... The closest the fans ever got on making a game in the lore and entertaining was the Last Days team... that mod was a light in the shadow for me. Maybe in the future perhaps, a game in that way will be made.
