I hope you know actors use under weighted bows...
(In the lore however Tauriel shouldn't have been there AT ALL!!)
She is real no actor next you say elves are not real.XD I know the books are different but i think peter did this on purpose if the movie was exactly the same as the books it would be boring or not? you would know everything what is going too happen so he changed some little things.
Yep, it was said many times that Tauriel was Peter Jacksons own creation.
Honestly, when I first saw Desolation Of Smaug, I thought I wouldn't like her. Those that know me know when it comes to non-canon female characters, I tend to not like them *cough cough* ahsoka from the 2008 cgi clone wars series *cough cough* However, she proved less annoying then I suspected, Even likable I daresay
