An adventure is an exciting or unusual experience. It may also be a bold, usually risky undertaking, with an uncertain outcome.

I doubt this is true. Yes, commies had ways to make you do what they wanted to, but people who shut up weren't treated bad. If this was true, there would be no Russia today.

Your subjective opinion has been duly noted - Youtube.com
Countless people that lingered and perished in Gulags immensely appreciate your comprehensive knowledge and deep empathy.
I'm inclined to overlook your impertinence- just this once. Next time I'll simply erase your post.

It is a part of history that somehow happened and we have to deal with it. But how it happened is hard to learn, since history is written by victors and Soviet Russia is now only bad and evil.

People who built cities like Novosibirsk had no doubt hard life. But many started to compare it with Nazi lagers (and this is a part of history we are dealt with, Germany is now ok)... We have even books from these Gulags - do you think that old intellectual would write it after 14 hours labor?

If I can't show my opinion, go right ahead and then think about what you have done.

Keep your inaccurate statements and adverse implications to yourself.

It's always about natural resources, economy, strict control and political dominance. Here - Upload.wikimedia.org numerous economic units. And here's Kolyma - Youtube.com & Amazon.com
