Can someone explain to me how to use workshop.exe to edit the campaign missions and also explain how to add units to call in as reinforcements. For example, unlocking UN troops and vehicles or the blackhawk as a playable units. Thanks in advance.
using script editor of workshop.exe is possible everytning. To create the units outside of the visible map and come inside, to teleport units, to substitute units. For ex: order infantery and transform them in everything you want when they are leaving the helicopter. Men can be transformed in tanks or other helicopters.
triger is: __=create unit of player leaver unit player from type___at leaver unit position.
You cant. Workshop.exe is only for mapping. In order to edit campaing maps you have to unpack the .pak files, something explained in the tutoral above. As for modding, we cant actually mod the game for the problem mentioned in the tutorial.
I dont know what you mean with "global", but speaking for mods in general, there are none, due to the core files packed away in a stupid, not possible to decompress (yet) .pak file. There are only maps that you can find around, but these are not considered "mods" anyway. However my research on these .pak files continues, and despite that I have not found a solution yet, I am very close. Check out my artcle for more information.
is compressed Huffman and maybe password protected. Workshop.exe map editor is not a finished program, by 4 years I study that but not a chance. Changing the game in script editor, for cenario and multi maps is possible, I made that. But, why to change the original campaign? I created CAMPAIGN ONE TOUCH set in scenario folder and working as campaign. I posted here this campaign, tutorial is included.
