Created by Jedi Master Vodo-Siosk Bass 40 years before the Mandalorian Wars, and still stands today. Jedi are trained in these halls on Dantooine to become great jedi knights and sometimes masters.
OK, what is it with Jedi Academies getting bombed/destroyed. There was the Jedi Academy here, the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, and then the new Jedi Academy on Ossus. They all got destroyed. Good god, you would think that at some point we would learn to place defenses around our strongholds. :P
Maybe because they are not strongholds. They are places for gathering and learning :P
Jedi think that cause they are Jedi they can build learning centers all around the galaxy without having to build defenses and no one will touch them cause they stupidly think that everyone thinks like they do. Sith on the other hand know that they shall be attacked and therefore provide more defenses to their accademys. Sith rule!
