Indievania is an online indie game marketplace for independent developers to sell their games directly to players, where 100% of the cost of the game goes to the developer. This allows developers to give the best promotions and deals possible to gamers. Customers can purchase games directly from the developers own merchant account, supporting the original developers and helping to fund further development.

Sure enough, it’s time to stretch our weary limbs, get out of the office and see the sunshine again. This time, we’re going north to Shanghai to attend Game Connection Asia 2012! There, Dave and Andrew will showcase City of Steam and talk about (or rather, show off) some of the features in front of anticipating publishers.

This also means a very good thing for all of you, dear fans and readers (and lurkers, we love you too you know)! Given that much of the game has changed since GDC, we’ll need to give them a fresh new look at the game… so yes! We’ll have a new trailer video coming out soon!

But! Most important of all: we’ve been nominated for the Game Connection Selected Projects Award! Don’t believe us? (Well, I’m sure you do, but we’re still soaking in the moment) See below:

  • - BasketDudes, BITOON, Spain
  • - Crystalides, Onipunks Studio, Inc., China
  • - Beach Volleyball Online, Radiance Digital Entertainment, China
  • - Demolition Inc., Zeroscale Games GmbH, Germany
  • - City of Steam, Mechanist Games, China
  • - Hazel Dazzle, Wake Studios SL, Spain
  • - Crossout, Coconut Island Studio, China
  • - Wooden Sen’SeY, Upper Byte, France

Only two more weeks before we find out… Wish us luck! And don’t forget, new trailer video coming up soon!
