I wouldn't say indie developers shouldn't earn something for all their hard work?

After all we are human and do deserve to pay our bills at some point :)

Of course, but that's not the issue. Read the thread to know more but it's more about all the new so called "indie" teams thinking they can sell whatever simple/bad game they have just because teams like wolfire are doing it.
