You know, for all s*it air force pilots gets, they arguably have the most dangerous job.
I mean sure, they may be most comfortable service branch in times of peace, but in case of a full scale war, they are likely going to be the ones who will sustain the biggest percentage of loss by service branch (Modern AA leaves little option for eject) and likely going to be among the ones under most stress (High G force do a number on the body).
Not to mention after the border guards, they are the first ones who will be thrown into the meat girders in case a nation is attacked.

True indeed, to add to that; they will be flying full time for supply drops or air supports, especially if the MSR is cut off and only way of supplying the cut off troops is by Aerial support. I'm not speaking this with an accurate description though.
But then, they equally criticize and make fun of each other... I'd call it fair and square, peace out.
then again, most of the jokes comes from the fact that 95% of the air force is ground crew and desk jobs, not from the pilots' jobs being easy or safe (cause they're not lol)
