Another long running joke was the inability for other countryballs to differentiate between polandball and indonesiaball (unless the latter is wearing his hat).

Doesn't work with these I'm afraid. Facebook paid ADB is stop blocking their ads.
Use something like Adguard then. As for blocking ads. Yes it could be considered unethical since you're essentially stealing content. Which is why I'm fine with ads if they are out of the way. However ads which make the website difficult to use should be killed with fire. Unfortunately making a white/black list is harder/more time consuming than just blanket blocking everything. Especially when also using stuff like noscript.
