It used to be a giant list, until they moved the huge wad of DLC commanders and camo ingame. They must've realized how terrible it looked to have a F2P game's worth of tiny DLCs sitting under a full price game.
Never played it: but what I watched from it, its a nazi game with the Germans being the OP faction again like they were on CoH1. I seriously had it easy to win playing both German faction, but it was a struggle playing Americans and Hell-up-Hill playing the "woefully-cost-ineffective" British.
Americans and Whermacht were the best. Panzer Elite was slightly better than the Brits.
Instead of Russians, maybe they could have done some less-remembered side of the war, like the Africa/Greece campaigns. With Australians. And Vichy French. And Italians.
A French + Italian Expansion would be very good for either CoH1 (a mod) or CoH2, maybe I would even buy CoH2 for that.
My experience with CoH1 differs than your, I couldnt even find people online who would want to play as Allies, the Axis rosters were always highly contested though. I tend to focus more on armoured warfare (in detriment to infantry), its easier to micro a tank to its fullest potential and both German sides had the best armour ingame (I think this shouldnt happen in an arcade game that doesnt want to be realistic) and they could pump out more tanks and much faster than the Allies. My experiance with the Allied Factions was that I had to choose the Airbourne/Royal Commandoes tree to just pump out fast and reactive infantry with anti-building abilities (sometimes even in the middle of the battlefield) and rush the Germans with a Stupid-Silly All-In attack, before they could produce tanks or reach very far in their doctrine trees.
Sadly, it's a tag that should both stay and will most likely get removed.
I agree...isn't there a game with like 6 pages of microtransaction DLCs?
