...the birds kinda lost out on that one
There is also the one where the closest living relative of a hyena like looking rhino size predator (or something like that) are goats.
A while ago I found out about how genes can be turned on and off, even traits that may have been lost for millions of years can be reawakened. Considering that, birds are the closest relative of dinosaurs. Theoretically speaking, therefore, we could possible RESURRECT dinosaurs by DEVOLVING birds!
I think there might be a pretty good reason why us humans are not suppose to coexist with Dinosaurs. As exciting as discovering new things may be, some things are better left in the past

Cant comprehend the fact some of these "adorable" birds may have been a Velociraptor millions of years ago...
