Please don't **** around about things you don't really know.
After WW2, Yugoslavia took a very large credit from USA (it was around $4.200.000, as I remember) and then couple of more 1 mill credits over the years.
But instead of investing majority of that money into economy and returning the credit, large amount of that money was spent on "free stuff" for people (free holidays, free apartments for people with jobs, free colleges, free school books, free excursions etc.). That created an illusion of rich country in people's eyes but it was actually in big debts with interests rising higher and higher.
Tito made sure people will live good until he dies, thus securing a good reputation even after his death in 1980, but after he died, economic crash was inevitable and Yugoslavia collapsed from within.
Not really, it's just, don't take it personal, but I'm just sick of people who think they know something about some subject and then go spreading their ignorance across the Internet for someone to read and believe. Whether it is history, religious physics (yeah, I'm talking about those nutjobs who think they can physically prove existance of god while they totally neglect something as fundamental as matter/energy conservation laws), music etc, I just keep bumping into same kind of wannabe smart-*****...
The point is - please don't talk about something you don't know publicly because people may believe you.
You're right, I was so wrong, what was I thinking. Oh please Master Professor Boda the Historian, what can this unworthy soul do to prevent the plague of ignorance.
And now they've got Putin... karma...
Like a baws.
Yep, that's Tito. Too bad the country he fought and shaped tore itself apart.

Looks like I hit a nerve.
