Back when I was in HS whenever I got put into a group project, I was the guy who immediately let everyone else in the group know who was running the show. And I always made sure their work was up to par, because I ain't having my grade suffer from their incompetence, hehe.
I was the opposite, I didn't feel like leading that mess at all.
I also hated group projects, people always found ways to overcomplicate things.
I used to just sit back and let they do the stuff and only assisted sometimes, mainly with what was essential to a good project (to prevent something important from being left out, or they ******* up something) and the division of tasks, I just wanted to get mine and end it already. xD
Looking back at it, I kind of took a leadership role, but a more passive one, just preventing them from messing it up, and only if necessary.
The struggle is real.
Teamwork, you can always hope...
Guess I've always ended up with decent group members that do their work :D
or maybe I'm just that guy that lowers the grades of everyone around me...

I always end up doing all the work myself or it doesn't get done... people are just too lazy >___>
