Ways I could explain this:
1) It was accelerated by a force other than gravity.
2) The subject moved forward.
3) The universe is a lie.
Likely options are 1 and/or 2.
Also funny how one of my teachers asked if we trusted him but only after he asked if we trusted physics did someone eventually becoming a voluntary subject for a similar experiment.
She didn't add any force to the pendulum, she leaned forward a little.
It appears to me that she giggled a little because of the whole experiment and because of it she leaned forward. I can't say for sure. (She was definitely a bit afraid, she even closed her eyes when the pendulum was swinging back)
That was one epic fail !
Behold, science!

She moved forward. Kind of defeated the point of the demonstration.
Definitly options 3.
