Never preorder a game unless you're fine with getting something terrible or you fully trust the developers behind it.

All of console-users will cry for platform war
I've pre-ordered 2 games in my life, first was Guild Wars 2 a few years back, and it was damn well worth it because the game is amazing. Second is WoW Legion, and again it's worth it.
I usually don't buy games until i've seen at least 10+ reviews, from both game journalists and Youtubers like Angry Joe. And even then i'm super duper careful when buying because my ancient computer might not handle it...
So far, I only preordered Sword Coast Legends and Total War Warhammer, and was not disappointed. I did a lot of research and bothe developers had videos of gameplay and features of the game, so I preordered with confidence in what I was getting.

I din't pre-ordered anything and i'll never will especially that most of the games today are half buggy at the release and then there are the DLCs...(Also i din't had steam before so piracy was the only way. :P)
I wait for the complete package that will be available in the future.
