What can I say flame wars are sometimes fun to watch. Especially when you're bored.
Oddly enough nobody actually argued my statement they just down voted it and honestly I couldn't care less about the amount of up or down votes I get. Sure it's somewhat disheartening to see people disagreeing with me but that's life I guess so might as well get used to it to the point where I don't care anymore.
It's just too bad nobody voiced their disagreement. I was getting the popcorn ready.
No one mentioned torches.

Romel, Guderian, Hoth, Patton, Rokossovsky, Kuznetsov, and hundreds of other generals are NOT amused by this bul*hit. All of them fought besides there troops in more than one battle.
Besides all generals attain their ranks after going trough the same suffering their underlings go trough as they all start their careers as junior officers.

@Elffriend no one wants to argue because serious discussion tend to get deleted (due to this group being the humor, satire, and parody group). Hence most here are basically going to the who "watch the world burn" while skipping the flame war part [almost] entirely. Also, feel free to take your actual serious discussion to one of the debating groups (yes I know both are pretty dead right now but hey that's the nature of such things).
@rkraptor70 I think the point of the comic in question is mocking modern first world militaries, where the command is so far removed from the situations at hand. Your second point still stands though.

Don't really want to start a discussion, but that is what mostly happens.
People tend to watch funny, non-intellectual stuff so they dont have to think about anything instead of doing a discussion or start thinking about topics.
