Any math wizards can explain this? I was pondering about this one day and couldnt think it out..
I know why, yet I cannot explain in fear of confusing myself :(
i think that this happens because the angles from red and green are slightly different from the ones of orange and blue but really dont know. dont want to calculate.
solved it, if you look at the cuts on the square you will se that the red/green cut sides are 3 and 8 and blue/orange cut sides are 2 and 5 so if you do tangent and **** you get that:
red/green angle is = 20º 33´
blue/orange angle is = 21º 48´
so the other figure has a space in the middle.
Well, I wasted a good 5 minutes of my life copying and pasting 64 squares. Yup, it's still ******* IMPOSSIBLE.
EDIT:
Found it. The slope of the top angle (the one drawn first) has a slope of 5/8. The bottom one (line drawn last) has a slope of -5/2, and flipped sideways to compare it to the slope of the other line, it has a slope of 2/5. Not perpendicular slopes, so you can't get a right angle out of it.
(An extra square is made when the lines are crossed. This is an eye trick)

Don't worry, God knows this was a bug. He's fixing it in the next universe patch. Says it's coming on December 21.
