I spent at least a minute trying to find an element that is abbreviated with an A and is on the right side of the periodic table of elements. As it appears it does not exist so I'm curious as to what the A- symbolizes if it doesn't symbolize an element.

Also the nervous systems is incredibly interesting! (at least in my opinion)

It represents complex ions with an overall negative charge. So pretty much is a way to representate the fact that there are several negative ions that are not from a single element but to explain how the nervous system works it is not important which ions they are. Potassium and Sodium are the important ones to remember.

Oh okay well that makes sense. Since yeah I knew about Na+ and K+ from biology which was quite fun and enjoyable but I didn't put in nearly as much work as I probably should have.

I rarely if ever read the textbook and mainly relied on my friends, brain, and notes (which people say aren't readable. :( I still don't fully understand what's wrong with those people:P) anyways I was beginning to think that I missed another thing in biology because I didn't read the textbook and so on but since it's not that important it probably was ignored all together as we really didn't go into much depth. :(

Anyways sorry for such a poorly structured comment. I've been depriving myself of sleep for far too long. (must resist playing a clash of kings and modding skyrim every single second that I can possibly gain by eliminating sleep and going outside. Well I never done the later anyways so I'm not missing much there. Sleep I probably require.)
