I have a legit question that I've asked many girls and have never gotten a real answer. What's the difference between a bathing suit and women's underwear? And what I mean by that is that many bikinis are just as if not more revealing than the underwear a woman would wear. The only real difference is that one is waterproof and the other isn't.
Yet it's OK for a women to be seen out in the public in a bikini but suddenly they're embarrassed and freaked out if people see them in their underwear. Women's swimsuits are just waterproof less frilly underwear. What's the difference..?

note: where i live its legal for females to walk around topless(no clothing from waist up) but they all feel scandalized if asked if they would do such a thing knowing its not illegal...
