Yeah, they dont teach us basic urban survival at school. The system expects the overworked, overtaxed parents to do this when they barely have the time to breathe. I learned all of this myself, but I still wished they thaught this at school instead of esoteric and philosophical **** that really just depends on your beliefs or point of view. And no, I dont mean Math, languages or History, those are fine.
This is precisely why I took a foods course and regret not taking business courses. But I got my brother to take a foods course and business courses. So if I need accounting help I'll have someone to go to :P
With the exception to taxes and baby stuff, all of the other stuff you learn as you grow up, way before the high school, at least i did. Also, people can't drive a stick? Wtf, that's so easy.
Man, 'muricans are so spoiled...
Nah, half the point of living in real life is to learn those things in the real world...
... and not to mention that most kids would probably ignore those lessons like they ignored all the other ones they're supposed to learn at school.
