It's a custom non-open-source license.
The download includes the license conditions (EULA.txt).

Generally a good idea.

The only problem is that neither Desura, nor the guys from Humble Bundle, has something to do with the games themselves.
In the end it is up to the developers, whether they distribute their game on Desura or not. That should not be forgotten.
If you would like to see the games on Desura, we should perhaps ask the developers themselves.

Desura seems more indie oriented than Steam. Don't get me wrong, I like Steam keys but I find it odd that Desura seems to be overlooked in this case =/
