Description
Taut is a horror game with elements of Silent Hill (visual presentation of the game) and the movies of David Lynch. It's also a "Drama", too, because the story is more or less about humananity but splitted into pieces of many metaphors which are all very psychological and sometimes abstract. In your home town, but (consciously) it shows no discernible name and has similarities to a few different cultures. Why is the town empty? You travel to the one place you find comfort & memories, your school.

it requires RTP installed, doesn't matter where on your computer.

I posted this as a guest already, but since it might take a while for the comment to be approved (if it gets approved at all) I am posting again while logged so people can get the problem solved.
For those having problems with running the game:
1- You need the RPG Maker 2003 RTP
2- For some reason the .exe that came with the game is a RPG Maker 2000 one, for the game to work you need to replace it with a 2003 one (the one that has a blue haired girl with a yellow background in it).

Game comes up with the error "konnte die datei nicht öffnen taut" or if I change it to german(germany) unicode the writings all ****** up and barely legible. Anyone know how to fix this?
I've been trying to get this game fixed for hours at a time for the past few months. I've tried installing like 5 different RTPs, I've tried replacing the exe with different versions. I cannot for the life of me get this to work.
what are the needs to get a good ending of the game?
