The world stretches before you endlessly in all directions...

Sun baked dunes of great desert land hide many secrets, only for those brave enough to wander them will the sands yield its treasures but thread foolishly and be buried in a shallow, unmarked grave. The desert wastes of death are where warriors are made.

Travel to the great lakes of the world and shelter yourself from the heat of the sun amidst the life giving forests and grand cities, but beware the royal courts for their political machinations. Kings and queens will always need pawns in their grand game, the faithful are rewarded but only the ambitious will rule.

Finally, in the furthest regions of the land where world comes at an end, heavens are reached, the darkened peaks of the old gods echo in cold storm and only the bold and the strong may survive and thrive. Great power awaits upon these holy mountains, but with it comes with a great price to be paid.

Oracles and seers, mystics and sages. All prophesize that now is a time of heroes, of villains and of legends.

Will your story be remembered?

Btw, who here plays Third Age Total war? I presume almost everyone.

I thought it would be fun to play a skirmish in it sometime.

You don't get viruses from playing multiplayer xD

As for playing it, its been a while since I've tried, but we have two possible ways to do it. Either with Hamachi or Tunngle. These programs allow you to enter into a LAN game with other people.

My version is a pirate version (yes, shame on me), but in theory it should work as long as we all have the same version. A CLEAN version. (Means no edits or submod).

If someone is up for testing if its possible, we can arrange a match at a later date?

Well, I only got the virus once after my friend left my PC. So I think it was him xD

But mine's also pirated. Both TATW and RotWK. . . shame on me. But your theory is false, for it uses a different game data. I've tried before though, LAN worked. But for long distances, don't think so.

Wait, wait, wait. So I still keep Umbar? But most of it is ruined?

Btw, I won't participate much in the Medieval RP since the Italian city states didn't do much til the Renaissance.

Everything of use is ruined yes. You won't be sending any ships on raids from there for many years, but you keep it yes.

I'm not stupid enough to keep it. :P
