Glorfindel appears on a hill outside of Annuminas with the banner of Rivendell and behind him marches 3000 Elven warriors, the last elven army to ever rise in the North again.
These elves have postponed the journey across the sea to once again stand side by side with the Men of Numenor against the Cold forces that has risen in the north.
They march into the city and set up camp in the city square. Only Glorfindel proceeds into the upper Castle to meet with the commander of the Dunedain in the north.
