Ich bin kein Deutsche, jedoch liebe ich Deutschland. Ein sehr tolles Land mit einer schönen Sprache, oder?
Ich hoffe, dass die Leute Deutschland nicht nur wegen den historischen Kriegen kennen.

Alles Gute!

Haha! I am not American but I live in America and love it. I sometime wonder if people know America not just for their wars but for the wonderfull place it is too. I sometimes miss Germany but I was quite young when I left.
Best to you too!

Germany, a country that caused thousands of innocent deaths in World War 2, makes me sad I'm German...

D.L.Täuschung May 25 2011 replied:

Wow are you ignorant. First off it was Millions of innocent deaths, so if you are going to try and hate Germany at least get your propaganda straight. Now that that's been established, in the last 100 years Russia, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Rwanda, Korea, Iraq, Japan and many others killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people (millions in the cases of Russia and Cambodia if not others), and in the preceeding millenia most other countries or their tributaries have at some time managed to do the same. According to your twisted logic we might as well all be ashamed to be alive because somewhere in our National ancestry some madman took control of the country and committed atrocities. Wake up, grow up and wise up.

Many Nations had their Dark Time: British Empire, France (Napoleon), Soviet Union (Stalins madness).
Afterall I and Kuschelmonster just said the truth.
The old Germany was in Technology and Culture far more better (for their time) than the Germany today.
If a Russian says "Im proud to be a Russian" than he is a Patriot.
But if a German says it then he is a Nazi ??? WTF
If the word Nazi means for you that a German is a patriot and proude of his country than call me Nazi as often as you want.

rofl and??? look back or forth enough and you will see that every nation has bloody hands, does it really matter if it where 50 or 30 or 100 million people after you killed already masses? btw in the last 100 years the world population greatly increased. in the past there where far more cruel stuff happening in this world there just weren't enough people existing to over-top the germans. be proud man, your not nazi germany anymore, your now the Bundesrepublik Deutschland. besides the greatest event was possible thanks to all that stuff. the Wiedervereinigung with the DDR so it has its good sides.

Mr.Walrus Apr 9 2011 replied:

The form Germany is in these days is completely different from that of what it was back in the era of the second world war... No nation is innocent, I can name a few countries that have caused quite a few more innocent deaths than Germany.
