I've wondered why the Ukrainian forces put white stripes on their vehicles. Is it an identification symbol, much like the D-Day stripes on aircraft in 1944?
Think logically: almost 100% vehicles (trucks, BTR, tanks, BMP, BMD etc) are the same on the both sides of the conflict.
So, we are using white stripes along vehicle, or "V" form white stripes on the doors and hood of the vehicle.
It's visually giving us marking "Friend or foe" on the vehicle.

True, that makes sense. So it is essentially the same as the D-Day stripes, so that no one gets confused and shoots their own men.
I'd love to see more of your dioramas and if you want, I'll send you some DNR skins that I am working on, if you want to work with me on some.
Same like soviet invasion forces during Prague Spring 1968,because Czechoslovakia use soviet origin vehicles like T 55s.
