in F3 mode press
F9(for mission properties) - environment - light/direction
or
F6(for environment panel) - light/direction.

I can save (something) from:
F9(for mission properties) - modifiers,right clk >add(new modifier) - include,right clk > zone(whatever) - Save as.
in Men of War. Assault Squad\resource\ folder i find the sunny_day.mod that i saved and inside that file i can find:

{Modifiers<br />	{modifier<br />		{filter<br />			{include<br />				{zone}<br />			}<br />		}<br />	}<br />}

and nothing else related to my custom weather, or other customizations i made.
If i reload the map, the light is coming back to its default value(unchanged).
If i enter in the game, in that map, the weather is in its default value(unchanged) .
I don't know how to do it.
Please help.

For what reason you created a modifier ?
Just press F6 and add/copy a environment and change it

You don't understand. I want [MY CUSTOM] weather, not a default weather.
I want for example, in my map to have the parameters for light: -0.900 0.100 -0.100
How (or where) do I store this information (in which specific file- can i add it to the mod folder?)

the editor I have is doing a crappy job. It is not saving correctly or i dont know the steps. Can you give me a tutorial with how to change the weather and after that [see the changes inside the game] ?

Just create new in f6 mode in the editor, then close it and agree to save the changes, then in f3 mode chose your wheather and save mission in f3 mode. In game files this config will be saved in the resource/set/environment if I remember right. I hope we understand witch other.

well, it is right what you say - it store that setting in the [Men of War Assault Squad\resource\resource\set\environment\skirmish\] folder.
You are also right when you say that changing the environment (from f6 or f9 mode) and then save the mission from f3 mode.
No complains there.
What tests I did:

I had open all this time the editor:
1- I reload the testmap - environment stay changed
2- I unload and load again the testmap - environment stay changed
3- I load other map, and then I load my testmap - environment stay changed
very good so far, but then, when I close the editor and open it again ...
}

I close the editor and open it again
I load my testmap - environment did NOT stay changed
If i load the map in the actual game, the environment is NOT changed.
}

environment saves only in mission file, you need to load the mission editor (f3) map editor (f2) did not stored environment settings
