It in fact takes place in aperture laboratories, It is BEFORE chell came and BEFORE GLaDOS was built. It was a prototype robot in charge. The first mod is for portal 1 and is called "Gates Through Time And Space" and portals are now called gates through time and space. and for short,energetic gates.The second one is called "Gates Through Time And Space: The Come Back" and is made for Portal 2.
