I called this shit when GG was first beginning, I fucking called it!
It was only a matter of time before SocJus had to go out of it's way to attack another community, this time they had choose the Metal community.
The Metal community was infiltrated a long time ago by soft, idiotic pansies with about as much love for metal as Anita Sarkeesian has for video games. No doubt social justice will be welcomed with open arms by these poseurs, meanwhile Metalheads like myself will be ostracised like lepers by these cretinous, self-righteous parasites.
I'm sure we'll be fine. Most of the bands worth a damn will raise their middle finger in defiance and tell these ball-less halfwits to pound sand. The metal community has gone through this before, being called Satanists, the courts blaming them for children acting out and what not. Only difference is now these *faggots* are upset that we have our own dialect and particlar subject matter, and want to blame us for misogyny, racism and homophobia and render us sterile pussies.
Just like gamers, metalheads are used to being looked down upon. Bring it on, you chunder-headed *****.
There is nothing less threatening to metal than someone crying about it being offensive. That's part of the point to begin with. At best, they just made more enemies.
On the other hand perhaps this is simply the next phase of Western culture, a natural progression to where everything mellows out/forced into a perpetual SJ induced blandness... and the backlash we have seen so far is the last grasp of the reactionaries before their inevitable demise.
Some food for thought, and to prevent this debate from devolving into a pity circlejerk.
Admittedly it wouldn't be a completely bad thing as it'll give breathing room for a domestic modern Chinese culture to become competitive on the international market. So I'm a nationalist, sue me.

That said, I am an atheist and a gamer, but I think this spin on Martin Niemoeller's famous quote sums it up. The SJWs have infiltrated each group in isolation. If we actually came together and opposed them in unison, we could quite handily beat them.
I doubt that'll ever happen though.
A lot of atheists are younger, are more likely to play video games, and generally it seems gamers like metal more than Katy Perry so they ****** off all the wrong groups. Any one of them could see the ******** coming at them but the plumes of smoke in the distance, of sanity being thrown to the pyre, somewhat prepared the next village with veterans from the last to be attacked.
Fair enough I suppose. Come to think of it, Atheism+ is pretty much dead. Maybe we'll make it through after all.
Atheism+ prompted Thunderf00t to take the **** out of Sarkeesian, he's got videos with half a million views mocking her vapid pseudo-intellectual ****. TotalBiscuit's an atheist and loves metal; All these big trusted personalities known for their rationality are magnitudes more important than any publication.
