Yeah, ever since Empire Total War, Sega became very very greedy. As you said they are selling you stuff that was already in game, only locked by a code, stuff like factions, blood pack, etc.

I own Rome 2, it was a gift from a ModDB member for my birthday, but i'm yet to finish buying all the DLC's. I bought 4 of the cheapest DLC's, and only when they were 90% off, so i am yet to finish buying the rest which cost from 7-15€, it will be years until i finally have them all. It seems Atilla will be even worse when it comes to DLC's...

Now i did a calculation, Rome 2 costs 55€, there are 11 DLC's and their combined cost is 83.5€, but of those 11 only 3 actually add new things(in this case new campaigns), the rest was already in game.

I remember the time when you payed once and you got a full game, no DLC no ****, the only thing you would buy was a full expansion that actually add stuff that wasn't in the game, and that usually happened like a year from the main release. Sega on the other hand sells DLC 2 days after the main release.

And then people ask why do i pirate everything...

In my opinion DLC should not cost more than the base game. However some DLC is alright if not even at times welcomed.

Description

Sega has released, within a month of Attila: Total War's release, two "culture pack" DLCs that offer you the esteemed privilege of playing as factions already present in the game. Naturally, gamers are pissed and waiting for a mod to unlock them.
