Founded by those who oppose the status quot, and defy the oppressive regime of the Empire. The Syndicate is a conglomeration of various organizations who have taken matters into their own hands, no longer willing to rely on the Jedi Order or the Federation to protect the galaxy from the likes of the Sith or Imperials. If there was one thing the Union lacked until now, it was a dedicated heavy bomber with enough firepower to destroy a light capital warship by itself. That objective has been attained with the revealing of the Aticus-Class Heavy Bomber. Equipped with a fearsome array of self-guiding and Target-Delaying ordnance. An entire squadron alone could defeat a frigate by themselves with all but a few volleys of their heavy missile payload. Though quite fast for a ship of it's size, they still require a small escort of interceptors to give them time to deploy their massive number of missiles, largely made up of Diamond-Boron, Ion, and Proton warheads, as well as a number of heavier torpedoes and rockets for more heavily armored ships.

Stealthed variants are known to lay in wait for pirate raiders only to make a micro-jump and attack them with a single massive salvo of missiles and torpedoes, inflicting horrendous damage and leaving before any meaningful response can be made in return.
