I was kicked because my computer broke and I had no way of getting online for like 3 months.... I had a willy accident too.... it seemed relevant.

leilei, most of us DID leave, there was forum posts in the staff forum announcing departre =p I also left because I wasn't doing anything and felt it pointless me being there.

I'm brave enough to admit that [b]I got fired[/b], in Oct 2003, because I gave StormCrow (now known as epi7aph) a temp ban for senseless spam after warnings. Him, being spam buds with azz0r, who didn't like this, caused a chain reaction of FUD. The rest is history. Things were worse back then, when I was even warned for having 'ex-staffer' in my sig, implying the denial of this ever happening. Hope there's no problem posting this comment today, with an official ex-Staffer group and being invited to it by teh Scotty.
Things are a lot different now with an almost completely different cast of staffers and 4 versions later, member control is under more serious solemn secure control without bias of spam friends. I'm no longer needed as a member admin.
Yeah, we've put in a much stricter set of controls and checks now since the site is much bigger. Bannings take a serious amount of work to do nowadays :D
I'm man enough to admit I was fired the first time. I left after I was admitted back on.

I chose to quit because I got to caught up in running two mods with large-ish teams of people working on them. I used to auth mods and add new games to the site.
I left by choice.
I chose to leave because I got myself addicted to World of Warcraft, and couldn't put in the time that my position demanded!
