I'm brave enough to admit that [b]I got fired[/b], in Oct 2003, because I gave StormCrow (now known as epi7aph) a temp ban for senseless spam after warnings. Him, being spam buds with azz0r, who didn't like this, caused a chain reaction of FUD. The rest is history. Things were worse back then, when I was even warned for having 'ex-staffer' in my sig, implying the denial of this ever happening. Hope there's no problem posting this comment today, with an official ex-Staffer group and being invited to it by teh Scotty.
Things are a lot different now with an almost completely different cast of staffers and 4 versions later, member control is under more serious solemn secure control without bias of spam friends. I'm no longer needed as a member admin.
I'm man enough to admit I was fired the first time. I left after I was admitted back on.
I chose to quit because I got to caught up in running two mods with large-ish teams of people working on them. I used to auth mods and add new games to the site.
I left by choice.
I chose to leave because I got myself addicted to World of Warcraft, and couldn't put in the time that my position demanded!
I left because I got kicked because apparently I caused a ruckus during last year's Awards show. Grudges do last with some people.
Yay for me... I join the ammassed ranks of those who have passed through the veil of ... staffage?
I left because there were some people on the forum at the time that I wanted to meet and kick them in the nuts, hard, to try and forestall them from creating offspring.
Bah, I can't auth news any more! :-p
