The American people are not any less intelligent than Europeans. I guess a few hoax videos and jokes have gone out of proportion and we're labeled the "idiot country". We aren't any different, and are facing similar problems within the western world, so why have all this hostility?
When half of an industrialized nation in the 21st century literally believes dinosaurs men both coexisted a few thousand years ago, that dinosaur bones were planted in the ground by the devil to deceive humanity, or some other variation of that nonsense. Then I claim the right to say that nation is not only ignorant, but backwards and disabusing its responsibility as a modern industrialized nation.
