I am glad that Croatia is part of EU, at least for now.
You can never know what future can bringe you, so I don't like to predict how everything will be, but I do hope that both EU and Croatia will benefit from this. EU for faster travelling to the coast of Croatia in Summer, and Croatia for economic development.
And thank you @Amneetje for wishing us welcome.

I agree with Man-at-Arms. I think that EU is more useful for us, than bad. And thank you for warm welcome! :) Our fathers were fighting for Croatia to become part of Europe, not a part of Balkan or Serbia. (I dont want to offend Serbs, but I am just saying how it is)

Yugoslavia was just a camouflage. You really think that Serbia + occupied croatian territories (Virovitica-Sl. Brod) would stay Yugoslavia ? I don't think so.

Yes, Yugoslavia. If Yugoslav People's Army have had regain the full control over it's territory, Yugoslavia would've exist even today- Yugoslav army, until it's disbandment, have had members from whole Balkan, even some of Slovenians served it after the separation of Slovenia, and even Albanians, who were never a part of Yugoslavia. That's my opinion...

After Slovenia and Croatia declared independence, Yugoslavia was not the same state. Yugoslav People's Army consisted of all nationalities from ex-state, it was an obligation to serve it, not a choice. Most Croats, Slovenians, Macedonians and Albanians deserted YPA (JNA) in early 90's, because they didn't want to fight against their own people.
It is a well known fact that even Serbs (mostly from central Serbia - Belgrade) also deserted because they didn't see a point in fighting for some crazy Serb nationalist (Milošević, Šešelj...).
The name YPA, by the end of the war, only served as a mascot for world medias so that Milošević would show how they fight only for "Yugoslavia" and not some "Greater Serbia", which was all a lie because Slovenia and Croatia were already independent (they had a right to declare independence from the 1974. constitution).

And every country had a right to get a part of a yugoslavian weaponry (tanks, weapons, aircraft, land vehicles as cars and trucks, etc.), which "Yugoslavs" (at least 95% Serbs) stolen before war. Or if you want easier version: every country had its own Territory Defense (1974. constitution) which had a right to keep a part of weaponry in case of declaring indepedence. Serbs, behind camouflage of Yugoslavia, clearly didn't respected that constitution at all so they invaded us with stories about saving Yugoslavia, which wasn't truth. Everyone saw just serbian flags and simbols invading us. So please mr. Yugoslavia-lovers (I don't mean only you, mr. Guest) learn something in future and then start to spread fake stories, childish and ridicilous imaginations of modern Yugoslavia and similar bullshits.

From what I can see, you have no clue. At all. You even don't know things that kids learn in primary school. So, did Croatia exist before declaring independence in 90's ? Yes. Even before there was a name "Serb" (unless stories about serbian aliens are true, which I doubt.) We had our first country in beginning of 7th century, and first kingdom in 10th century, and it was even bigger than todays Croatia. It dissapeared later when we entered CRO-Hungary country (about 12th century) and then all kind of ***** started to play there. Faker than Montenegro ? Now think again. We are an older nation than you and your Raškica (if you even know what is it). Second thing, as standard serb ********, you surely seem to believe in that winner's propaganda about Jasenovac. I will tell you some info. All the prisoners, Jews and Serbs taken away was killed by BULLET from PISTOL or RIFLE. We (if I should use "we") had no gas chambers, big facilities to do so or anything similar. It means that number of killed people in Jasenovac and all other ustashi camps was not as much as your historians are saying (by that "logic" there was someone being killed every nine seconds by ustashi bullet, counting from beggining of the war - ISC simply had no manpower or resources for such as thing). Next thing, which you SURELY dont know (as well as many Croats, acrually. How could you ?) is that almost all the victims of WW2 on whole Croatian-bosnian-serbian territory were listed in victims of Jasenovac, no matter if they died in some village from partisan or nacy hand.

Many families (and by that we mean about 80% of "Jasenovac" victims) were shocked to see their cousins, close family, etc listed in victims of Jasenovac list, while they died in combat (fighting other side), in bombing, by natural death, or something else - who never seen "J" of Jasenovac. There was also even USTASHI and HOME GUARD soldiers (alot of them - and I mean ALOT) who are listed there. Check it yourself. I wouldn't be surprised to see "Ante Pavelić". :) At end we can say that there were maybe 70-90k of victims (in Jasenovac only), thinking about all the FACTS and being reasonable, not making an elephant from flier just because we dont like it. It is how it is, you hate nacism, I hate it, but there is no need to pump it up as you, and others similar to you likes. Also, how the hell Chetniks did defended their land by killing civilians in croatian territory ? You are ridicilous. Seriously, start to think with your own head, not everything u can hear from medias.
