Lessons to be learned from Fallout 3:
* Crime pays.
* Honesty is a needless hassle.
* Helping people is for chumps.
* Shooting people in the face is comedy gold.
So other than the face-shooting thing the game didn't teach me anything I didn't already know. I guess that's why it's not listed under educational software.
