(this group does not support the majority of the Democratic party who are mostly corporate whores; shoving "democrat" at the front was a grammatical ploy)

Don't hold much political opinion but I took that political test you had on your profile, Comerade Winston, and found out I was a lefty. Meh, politics isn't my thing xD.

You mean to tell me that when you're sitting at your computer, Chuck Norris is standing to your right? All joking aside, to the left of Chuck would still be right-wing technically :D

On a side note, America seems to start lacking Democracy heavily, on a federal level (especially recent bills). Still some advocacy groups, also trade unions, activist groups and state referendums help the situation a little, but it only has a reminiscence of democracy.

Though looking at recent developments, buying a bankrupt government out by corporations could be most tragic. Can you imagine a corporate gov't?

The government is already mostly owned by corporations, only many politicians don't blatantly go out of their way to serve who pays them as the now mentally insane republican party, for the most part, does.

You really only have to look to movies to get a glimpse of the potential future if this trend continues a few more decades, corporations could literally become governments. All they need is a half decent excuse and a stupid populace to convince. The later is already there, though defunding schools could help it along a bit more, which is being done and has been done for a while now.
