Darkout is a Sandbox game set in the distant future on a dark and desolate world. You escape pod just crash landed and you must figure out how to survive and defend yourself against all the creatures lurking in the shadows. Hopefully you can stay alive long enough to try and escape or rule this world.

New 1.0.5.4 update is finally out! take a look at the most interesting additions!

- Optimized game start up to be about 50% faster
- Added new menu option to select a different character and world
- Added new ballistics physics. Currently only being used for the grenade launcher (trajectory helper soon to come!)
- Changed tar so that it catches on fire and turns into lava when it touches lava
- Added new data relics
- Added a scrollbar to the info popup GUI so you can now view past events
- Added keybind to F5 for manual save

How to get the new Version??? Because the DRM-Free Download is still 1.0.5.3

Is the new version only available with the Desura Client???
