The CryENGINE Developers group is all about creating levels, mod, Total modifications, addon's, machinima videos,games and Indie games, using Sandbox3 for Crysis or using the free standalone CryENGINE 3 SDK tools. Feel free to post information, screenshots, videos, and so on created on CryENGINE3.

However do NOT post anything from the "leaked" editor or anything which is in breach with Crytek NDA rules. Anything illegal will be removed.

Well how about a free stand alone SDK from the: Frostbyte engine, ID tech 5, or the new Elder Scrolls engine (name unkown yet)

Well previous Elder Scrolls games launched with ES Construction Kit that allows for some serious modification. I expect Skyrim to do the same...

The name should be Creation Engine

While CE3 supports consoles I doubt that indie devs will get access to those features since you have to get licenses from Microsoft/Sony as well I suppose.

No official word on X360 and PS3 support yet. But Crytek did say that will release the same engine as the one for official licensees. But also in the open letter was stated "to build complete games from scratch for the pc."

For the moment its still not allowed to release tutorials. That will change once the editor is out.
