Rock Pack
All textures for all rocks are 2048x2048 and ready for downsizing if it fits your project better.
*Exception*
2 of the Huge rocks are 4096x4096 because they are meant to be used as very large rocks that either fill in the background or make area's impassable.
Pine Pack
Textures for the Pines range from 1024x1024 to 2048x2048 for Cinema style projects
In the future I'm going to be making a filler pack with dead, broken, and fallen tree's.
Alpine area human props
These range from 2048 x 2048 to 1024 x 1024
the objects themselves are meant to be used a few times, and aren't the most detailed or anything, they are very good filler pieces for a larger overall scene.
great that people make assets to use in Cryengine3 and release them to the community.
great vegitation props!!
Leon
how do you install this add-on pack?

Hey man - yes same for me, too. I cannot follow the .txt instructions and I have tried several folders. All show up as "replace me"
I'm sure I'm being an idiot or just getting the wrong path :) Can you confirm the folder name and path, pls? Many thanks!
CryEngine is on my C so it is C:\CryEngine - do I copy the Objects folder in here? Thanks!
I check the .mtl files and the path was:
"objects/natural/trees/dead/dead_cherrywood/etc.dds"
This didn't match up entirely as the folders in the archive start with capital letters (i.e. Dead/Dead_Cherrywood/etc.)
I tried renaming, but they didn't seem to work either way around, and I checked the paths in the .mtl file and they were matching.
If anyone can let me know what I am missing, or whether they got this working, that'd be really helpful :)
Thanks!
Nice guys. I am new to the group, and to CryEngine. I have messed around with UDK a bit, and decided CE3 has more of what I am looking for. I am not really sure what I am going to create, I have an idea, but don't have a plan written in stone. Does anyone know where I can get more textures/static meshes/materials, ect.
WinRAR says the RAR file is damaged
did you try 7zip? That seemed to work fine for me.
Hey man - the file came down fine for me (contents scanned and fine) so a retry should be OK. That's a moot point though, as the paths seem to be wrong anyway and there isn't an Objects folder. Still ******* about trying to get it working.
I haven't found much for CryEngine - this was the only model pack I found. Some guys have asked on the forums but they seemed quite lazy "I want a zombie game can you give me the zombie AI" for example :)
Some guys let you use stuff from their projects as long as you credit them. The site is offline so I can't give examples yet :) Let me know if you find any good stuff and I'll do likewise.
This is a great start. I think CryENGINE developers should start amassing a database of public assets to encourage more development.
