I guess everyone is waiting for the release of Crysis 2 + SDK anyway ...
HI to all of you! i am actually creating a STAR WARS mod (STAR WARS - A GALAXY IN CRYSIS) for Crysis but I urgently need help!
Is there anybody out here who wants to do some modelling, scripting or anything else?
Please help!
Hi all. Our game team, UnrealPHD, recently completed 20 months of development for EPIC Games Make Something Unreal Contest. We competed in phases 2, 3, and 4, with 8 official entries. We received an Honorable Mention from Epic for our map Starbase Defense.
We are looking for an experienced team or individual to port our map to Crysis so we can share with the Crysis commmunity, and experience how it's game engine compares to UE3 and UDK. We have alot of next-gen models already done, with normal maps and custom textures.
We don't want to even consider sharing these with anyone who doesn't have a long history of making their own things, so please only apply if you can show what you make. Please no time wasters, or people who only dream, our team works together all the time and we all make some time for each other or for at least 2 or 3 hours or more per month at a minimum, and we have eliminated a bunch of talkers in the past, no offense intended to the talkers :P but let's just be forward from the start. Our team also prefers working with others 18 and up, like ourselves, we all range from 25-38 years old, and all of our members have a history of 3d production before game design (this isn't a must for our Crysis lead but skill is).
We already created a section on our website for our future Crysis based releases, and look forward not only to custom maps for Crysis, but making custom Cinematics using the Crysis engine. We are currently a 7 person game team working together almost 2 years, and currently specialize in Unreal and Unreal programming, with several video tutorials on UDK. We would like to integrate with a specialist in Crysis to port our work to that game.

Best Regards, and Seasons Greetings,

Wow where is everyone shouting for CryEngine2? We are kicking butt now with Unreal Engine 3.5 aka UDK :P...I know CryEngine2 has some great features that we are unfamiliar with, but the stuff we have custom programmed in our new Game which we are releasing in a few weeks is light years above our last UT3 maps. We have done custom characters and weapons in UDK already. We are also looking for beta testers for our demo due within 3 weeks, so stay tuned.
Hey group =3
I agree....
The CryEngine 2 has by far THE BEST ENGINE and SDK I've seen since the dawn of Modding (DOOM).
I wish that this group was more active! I think Crysis would be the number one game to mod if it was not so underrated! Seriously, there is so much you can do when modding Crysis that isn't possible when modding other games!
Think u guys should check out this place:
